Empath Burnout: When Feeling Too Much Becomes Too Heavy

Empathy burnout affects individuals, particularly those with hyper empathy, which is heightened sensitivity to others’ emotions. This can lead to emotional exhaustion and disconnection from one’s feelings. It’s crucial for hyper empaths to establish boundaries and practice self-care to mitigate emotional overload, fostering balance while maintaining meaningful connections.
