My Journey with Tremfya: 10 lbs Lost and Counting

✨ Unexpected Perk Alert! ✨

Since switching to Tremfya, I’ve lost 10 lbs—not as a side effect, but because of a noticeable reduction in swelling! I’m not quite ready to share all my progress photos yet, but you can see a major difference in my hand. The left photo shows the reduced swelling, while the right was taken back in October/November when I was still on Rinvoq.

That being said, my journey is far from over. Some stubborn patches on my skin are still hanging around, and while I hope they’ll clear up, my body had other plans. One patch was almost gone, but stress—between upcoming tests, switching doctors, and waiting on new results—kicked me right back into a flare. It’s frustrating, discouraging, and honestly exhausting.

And if you’ve ever dealt with autoimmune issues, you know exactly what I mean. Navigating the medical system feels like a full-time job—one where you’re constantly having to advocate for yourself, push for answers, and fight to be heard. Finding the right doctors, getting the right tests, and not being dismissed as just “stressed” or “dramatic” is an uphill battle in itself. Sometimes, you feel like you’re chasing answers that always seem just out of reach.

But here’s the thing—I refuse to give up. And you shouldn’t either.

Baby steps are still steps forward. Even when progress feels slow, even when it feels like you’re back at square one, every effort you make for your health matters. You deserve answers. You deserve relief. And you deserve to be heard.

That’s why I share my journey—because I know how isolating this can be. Some days, the fight feels never-ending. But you are not alone. I see you, I hear you, and I’m here if you ever need to talk, vent, or just have someone who truly gets it.❤️

Chin up, my lovely. Keep pushing, keep fighting, and keep believing in yourself. You are stronger than you know. ✨🌙🫶

Much love & many blessings,
Mrs. B
