My name is Jess, I am a mom, a wife, a photographer, a sister, a daughter and so much more!

I write a little about everything, from my beliefs, my family, my community, my views, cooking and everything in between!

This blog was used as a backup when the main blog was under maintenance or having server issues. HOWEVER, it has taken on a life of its own. So we now have two distinct parts of the UM universe.

What makes me unconventional you may ask? Well, I am a Pagan Poly Deist, I am sure you wonder what that really means, and I will be happy to tell you more about it in some of my blog posts.

But there are other things that make me “normal” I suppose. I am a stay at home, work from home, homeschooling momma of three teenagers. I have been married, divorced and remarried. Hey, we all make mistakes sometimes right? 😉

When I was a teenager I suppose you could have labeled me as a punk or something that closely resembled it anyway. But even way back then, I didn’t really into any of the social norm categories, even on the fringe side of them. You know what? I didn’t care and still don’t.

I am uniquely me and I am proud of it, and if this makes me unconventional, then so be it.
