These are more along the lines of campy, funny, and laid back movies with less focus on the creepy scares but still just enough to be perfect for Halloween viewing. With Nostalgia playing a large part in this list it is no surprise that one of our top picks for this year is a return movie or a second part of an already favorite of ours.
1: Hocus Pocus 2- Hocus Pocus 2- 2022 : They RETURN!!! On Disney+
Synopsis: Three young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the world.
Talk about memories! Hocus Pocus is one of those favorites of my childhood that I in turn passed on to my own children, it has since become a family tradition to have a movie night on Halloween where we do a marathon of all our favorite movies. Hocus Pocus is among the first ones we put on, We can only hope with the debut of the second film tomorrow on Disney + that it will be a welcomed edition to our tradition.
